I don't dislike Matt Smith, but whenever he says 'I'm the Doctor', I find it hard to believe. I liked Tennant best as The Doctor, he was believable. He was charismatic, wacky, emotional, and underneath it all hard as nails. When he gave one of his I AM THE DOCTOR speeches I could feel myself almost holding my breath; he was that believable. Smith, while an adequate actor, doesn't have the presence expected of someone who's lived over 900 years. It's not right to compare him to Tennant, I know, but Smith seems more like Milk Toast. When he gave that little speech in the 12th episodes to his haters, I found myself wondering why they would be afraid of him. I didn't need to 'get use' to Tennent, I liked him from the start.
